Anele Mdoda is very outspoken and those who know her or have seen her on TV or listened to her radio show know this. In 2019, the media personality said that former Destiny Child singer Kelly Rowland didn’t look pretty without makeup on. Ever since then, she has been trending whenever Kelly Rowland shares a post on any social media app.

Two years ago, Anele Mdoda basically called US musician Kelly Rowland ugly. This is a statement that she has probably come to regret because since then, she has been trending whenever Kelly Rowland trends.
This became even worse for her. This after Kelly supposedly shaded her by sharing a snap of herself wearing a yellow bikini that Anele wore only a few weeks earlier.
Naturally, people started comparing the two media personalities. And they were soon both trending as American Twitter users started dragging Anele. In fact, things went so far that one person compared Anele to US comedian Anthony Anderson.

No remorse
Despite all of that, Anele recently went on Mac G’s Podcast and Chill and said that she would never retract her statements about Kelly. She did however add that she has no issues with the singer.
She also mentioned how people have been saying the third Destiny Child member Michelle is ugly but no one made it a big issue.
“I don’t hate Kelly at all, I really don’t hate Kelly, I just don’t think she’s prettier than Beyoncé. There are many people you’d think are not prettier than the other one … for years Michelle was called the ugly one in Destiny’s Child, no-one batted eyelids,” she said.
