Wife demands R156K in spousal maintenance from Mihlali’s man

The estranged wife of the businessman who is romantically involved with influencer Mihlali Ndamase is allegedly demanding R156 000 in spousal maintenance.

According to Sunday World, the woman – who cannot be named for legal reasons – made her demands in the court papers she filed to oppose an application by her estranged husband to rescind a court order obtained against him last year. The court order was to force the businessman to return her luxury vehicle allegedly given to Mihlali.

WHY THE WOMAN WANTS R156 000 A MONTH

In the court papers, the woman allegedly stated that because her ex can afford to shower Mihlali with luxury gifts and vacations, he can afford to pay spousal maintenance to the amount of R156 000.

Additionally, she claimed that the businessman is paying for the social media personality’s up-market cluster house in Bryanston, which is said to be more than the R100 000 he pays for the bond of their marital home.

“She is starting to live the lavish life that I lived with the applicant, and his financial position has manifestly not changed,” the woman reportedly claimed.

According to the estranged wife’s claims, her husband has not returned the Range Rover Vogue Autobiography that he allegedly gave to the 26-year-old content creator. She also said that her daughter had advised her that the businessman is looking to buy Mihlali a Porsche and a Bentley for himself.

In another argument for her R156 000 maintenance bid, the woman claimed that the couple had spent several nights at a 5-star hotel in Mexico which costs about R28 693 per night out of season.

“In a picture from Ndamase’s Facebook profile, uploaded on or about December 5 2022, Ndamase is seen reading a book while surrounded by eight Louis Vuitton shopping bags, displays a Louis Vuitton handbag with a further three-year Yves Saint Laurent shopping packages in the background,” read the papers.

She also made mention of their baecation in Mauritius with Somizi and his entrepreneur friend Ndo Maleho.

Responding to the woman’s demands, the businessman said he cannot afford the R156 000 monthly spousal maintenance because it is more than what he earns from his company.

DID MIHLALI AND HER MAN BREAK UP?

Last month, a source told Zimoja that the make-up artist and her businessman boyfriend have called it quits and the influencer has also deleted all her pictures with her alleged ex from her social media pages.

The source claimed that their relationship became “toxic and volatile” and Mihlali also got tired of defending herself to the public.

In addition, their relationship was reportedly riddled with insecurities and trust issues due to third parties who fed them information about each other.
