‘Never seen this before’: Tweeps react to Stevie Wonder’s eyes

After some Twitter users saw a picture of Stevie Wonder’s eyes, they shared their opinions about the blind American star.

American icon Stevland Hardaway Judkins popularly known by his stage name Stevie Wonder trended on Twitter recently after a photo of him without his signature black glasses did the rounds online and had tweeps curious to see the A-lister’s eyes for once.

‘ONCE IN A LIFETIME’: STEVIE WONDER WITHOUT HIS GLASSES

According to Briefly, Stevie Wonder was born six weeks premature. He was said to have been put in an incubator to give his organs more time to develop.

Unfortunately, he reportedly received too much oxygen in the incubator, which resulted in him getting an eye disorder called retinopathy of prematurity (ROP), which was said to have been caused by an abnormal blood vessel throughout his retina.

The renowned musician stole millions of fans’ hearts on numerous stages with hits such as Isn’t She Lovely, I Just Called To Say I Love You, Part-Time Lover, and more.

However, fans rarely see Stevie Wonder without his signature black glasses, and some of them have never seen his eyes at all.

When a picture of the blind musician was shared on Twitter recently, several fans took to the comment section and shared what they thought about his eyes after seeing them for the first time.
