Golden fist bump: Trevor Noah gushes about ‘insane’ Beyoncé and Jay-Z moment
‘The Daily Show’ host Trevor Noah says fist-bumping the ‘King of Brooklyn’ Jay-Z and Beyoncé at the NBA playoffs was a ‘magical moment’.

Award-winning South African-born comedian and The Daily Show host, Trevor Noah was recently spotted “fist-bumping” the Carters at the playoff game between the Brooklyn Nets and Milwaukee Bucks at the Barclays Centre.
A beaming Noah posted an image of himself fist-bumping the golden couple. Jay-Z is a former Barclays stake holder. Noah, who purchased a $27.5 million Bel Air mansion in January, shared the image with his seven million Instagram followers…and Mzansi just can’t get over his A-lister lifestyle.

WHEN TREVOR MET JENNIFER LOPEZ
This isn’t the first time that Noah admitted to being star-struck though.
The comedian, who made his historic debut on The Daily Show on 28 September 2015, admitted on the show that he still gets star-struck when he meets celebrities he grew up watching on television. Noah describes the moment he completely froze when he “bumped into” Jennifer Lopez on his Daily Show podcast.
His Instagram account is also filled with images of himself and celebrities, such as Dave Chapelle, Oprah Winfrey and Rihanna.
‘THE DAILY SHOW’ SUCCESS…
The Daily Show, which received six Emmy Award nominations in 2020, largely owes its success to Noah’s diverse team of Asian, African and African-American producers and writers, such as David Kibuuka and Joseph Opio. The comedian also announced in May that the show won 13 Webby Awards.
The Webby Awards are awards for excellence on the internet presented annually by the International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences.

Trevor and Minka Kelly ‘working on their relationship’
US Weekly also reported that Noah and his on-and-off girlfriend, Minka Kelly, are now back together after several media outlets reported that the pair went their separate ways in May. Sources close to the pair reported that they went on vacation together and are now working on their relationship.
