‘I can’t get pregnant’: ‘Everybody Hates Chris’ star in menopause

American actress and mother Tichina Arnold says because she is experiencing menopause, she is the best person to date.

Actress Tichina Arnold says that she’d be the best person to date now that she’s in menopause.

According to Hollywood Unlocked, the actress appeared on The Jennifer Hudson Show on Wednesday, where she opened up about the decline in her reproductive hormones.

Tichina told Jennifer Hudson that she didn’t think she was able to have children because she had entered menopause at a fairly young age.

NO SIBLING FOR HER 18-YEAR-OLD

The Everybody Hates Chris star said that after she had her 18-year-old daughter in 2004, she had no plans to have more children or a sibling for her child.

“But because I can’t get pregnant, I’m the best date ever…And you know, I’m 53 with an 18-year-old. Just pray for me; keep me in your prayers,” she said.

This is not the first time Tichina has talked about her dealings with menopause, having explained in a 2020 interview how she can still find the humour in situations that many would usually frown upon – as per Hollywood Unlocked.

The publication reports that while talking to Black Girl Nerd, Tichina said “I don’t mind and I like to make fun of menopause; to find the funny moments where you laugh instead of cry. I think that it is making me a better person because you are conscious of something. You are battling something.”

The mother of one said ,”it’s all about becoming comfortable in matters that might make us feel uncertain or perhaps even uncomfortable — it’s a learning phase and the more open people are about things, the better.

“My sister has lupus, and we have a foundation. We are learning so much by having our issues, our problems. But we welcome them because we are working on ourselves,” she said.
