‘Where is the money?’: Thobile denies marrying Musa for money

Reality TV star and radio host Thobile “MaKhumal”‘ Mseleku, has poured cold water on baseless claims that she is in an “unhappy marriage.” This is after one of her fans insinuated that she married her husband Musa Mseleku, for his deep pockets.

THOBILE MSELEKU ‘WHERE IS THE MONEY?’

The Real Housewives of Durban star who is Mseleku’s 3rd wife, rubbished the claims during a Facebook live session with her fans. According to Thobile, she doesn’t know where the rumors come from.

She set the record straight that she wasn’t attracted to Mseleku’s deep pocket when she met him. Thobile says Mseleku began pursuing when she was young, and it took her many years to accept his proposal.

“Where is the money.” We are living a normal life, please. I dated Mseleku and he did not give me money. I did not just meet him; I knew him before we even dated. He was a great man but I did not say here is Mseleku courting me and money is coming now. He started pursuing me when I was still very young and it took me years to accept him so, I was not attracted to him for his money,” she said.

The media personality says everyone works hard in the Mseleku household, and she is not one to ask for money from her husband.

“We all work hard for money. I do not even know how to ask for money from him, maybe you should teach me,” she explained.

She said that she heard stories of women staying in toxic marriages because of money, but she would never do that because she is a hard worker.

IS THOBILE A RICH HOUSEWIFE?

Thobile joined the third season of Real Housewives of Durban (RHOD) cast this year, but viewers felt she did not fit the criteria of the show. There was a public outcry against her personality and other’s felt her lifestyle did not match the show’s caliber

Since season four is already in the works, it is unclear whether she will return. Her alleged beef with Nonkanyiso “LaConco” Conco caused a stir and it was on everyone’s lips during the previous season.

LaConco said she started getting weird vibes from Thobile after the Uthando Ne’sthembu’s star came for an interview at Vuma FM studios.

“I am friends with MaYeni. When I arrived at the Mseleku household she welcomed us, she was very bubbly. I was still working at Vuma FM she came for an interview. She was very cold, it was as if I was not in the same room, gosh, I was shocked because not so long ago. I saw her at the wedding and I wondered if she’s the type that is only friendly when there are people around. So it means she was not genuine. I want to have a conversation with her and tell her that I am not going to be her fool,” she told Londie London.

LaConco continued to take jabs at MaKhumalo during her diary session. However, during the reunion, she could not reveal exactly why she said distasteful things about MaKhumulo throughout the season.

According to LaConco, their beef was unrelated to MaYeni, and she didn’t inherit it from her.

“Thobile and I knew that there was a bridge we had to cross before. Maybe my weakness was when I saw the cameras, I couldn’t quickly just laugh before we crossed that bridge. Maybe that was my weakness and I am sorry for that. So, if she is able to do that, I couldn’t and it looked as if I had beef with her,” she said.

Thobile responded to her “I wouldn’t even say that I was confused, in life there will come a time where you will not be able to hide who you are, and I really never thought that she inherited any beef. It was just her being herself. Until this day I still don’t remember being cold to her. I really feel like she lied to herself until she believed in her own lies,” she said.
