A ‘stalker’ was arrested outside Harry and Meghan’s US mansion
According to reports, a ‘stalker’ was arrested outside the Montecito home of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex last night.

A ‘stalker’ was reportedly arrested outside Prince Harry and Meghan’s Montecito mansion after lurking around in the middle of the night, MailOnline reports.

‘STALKER’ ARRESTED AFTER LURKING OUTSIDE MEGHAN AND HARRY’S US HOME
An alleged stalker has been arrested after lurking outside the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s Montecito home. He was reportedly apprehended after being spotted in the middle of the night, MailOnline reports.
According to the publication, a security team member at the property placed the man under citizen’s arrest before alerting the local police to the scene.
In an interview with TMZ, a spokesperson for the Santa Barbara Sheriff’s Office confirmed the incident. They had received a phone call on Monday morning at around 2 a.m. from security staffers at the Montecito property.
A 29-year-old man was reportedly taken into custody and booked for misdemeanor stalking. He was later released on $2 500 (estimated at R48 000) bail.
It is reportedly not the man’s first brush with the law, and he is believed to have committed a similar offense.
TMZ reports that although the man never made it close to the house or even onto the property, immediate action was taken after something he told security.

It is unclear if Meghan, Prince Harry, or their children were at the house during the incident.
The couple attended the Ms. Foundation Women of Vision Awards last night in New York. Meghan was awarded for her ‘global advocacy to empower and advocate on behalf of women and girls.’ Her mother, Doria Ragland, attended the event with them.
