‘Lives are change and saved’: Sol Phenduka on ‘Podcast & Chill’
While many Tweeps have called for ‘Podcast and Chill’ to be cancelled, Sol Phenduka said the podcast has changed and saved lives.

Podcast host and radio personality Sol Phenduka reflected on how “life changing” Podcast and Chill was via a tweet on 11 September.

Kaya 959 presenter Sol Phenduka shared his opinion on the impact of the podcast he co-hosts with MacG – Podcast and Chill has had on people’s lives. Several Tweeps have called for the controversial podcast to be cancelled.
However, Phenduka felt that the podcast has changed and saved lives. Take a look…
“Imagine if the podcast had been successfully cancelled. Imagine! Zola’s story wouldn’t have been told, Dr Malinga wouldn’t be getting help — lives wouldn’t have been changed. The entire Podcast and Chill team. Lives are changed. So many chillers out there. Lives changed and saved,” he tweeted.

Twitter users argued with Pehnduka’s opinion and question which ordinary person was helped by the podcast.
“Tell us one ordinary person y’all helped,” wrote @Bandavic14.
“Mention one woman’s life who was changed for the better/saved by the podcast,” wrote @VNtshentshe.
“But you know the podcast isn’t so perfect as you are trying to make it to be. You also write other people off. You also ruin other people’s careers,” wrote @WoMculo.
However, others have defended Phenduka and the Podcast and Chill team.
“No one is cancelling us chief ????. Relax you doing the Lord’s work over (there). Noah didn’t stop building the Ark to explain himself to doubters and haters. Keep building and they’ll get it Sooner Than Later,” wrote @OyiDreamchaser.
