‘Skeem Saam’s’ Innocent Sadiki reveals her battle with COVID-19 [watch]

The actress who plays the role of Sthoko Seakamela on the educational soapie says the past few days have been tough for her.

Actress Innocent Sadiki who plays the role of Sthoko Seakamela on SABC 1’s Sepedi soapie Skeem Saam is battling COVID-19.  

The reality star revealed on her Instagram account that she has decided to remain positive and face life even though the past few days have been tough for her.  

Sadiki also stated that she still has COVID-related symptoms such as a throat infection and bronchitis even though she has now tested negative for COVID.   

The actress posted several pictures and a video of her COVID-19 journey on her Instagram and can be seen coughing non-stop on one of her posts.   

She began to share her COVID journey three days ago (8 October) and posted more images of herself on 9 October where she compared the frames by stating how well she looks on social media versus how she’s really doing.   

She also thanked everyone for the well wishes and said she is now ready to go back to work.

AMANDA MANKU’S COVID-19 JOURNEY

Another Seem Saam actress who recently (August) shared her battle with COVID-19 is actress and television presenter Amanda Manku who plays the role of Elizabeth Thobakgale on the show.   

Manku took to her Instagram to share images of herself a day after her 30th birthday, accompanied by a lengthy caption.  

The actress mentioned on her social media account that she was struggling to walk, held onto things when she tried walking and that her feet were swollen.

She also stated that she had a sad birthday this year as she lost both her mother and grandmother.
