‘Skeem Saam’: Pebetsi Nolo Matlaila chats about getting married again

‘Skeem Saam’ actress Pebetsi Matlaila says she’s open to the idea of getting married again after her split with her husband – Lloyd Mbatha.

Actress Pebetsi Matlaila – who plays the role of Mokgadi Matloga on SABC 1’s educational soapie Skeem Saam –  has opened up her separation and getting married again.

Her recent Instagram story has confirmed rumours that she’s separated from her TV producer husband.

GETTING MARRIED AGAIN: ‘I AM OPEN TO THE IDEA’  

Skeem Saam actress Pabetsi Matlaila – who married her husband Lloyd Mbatha in November 2020 recently revealed on her Instagram story that she’s open to the idea of getting married again after her split.   

“Yes… I could be open to the idea of getting married again… but first, we heal.” 

“Who knows maybe the 2nd time around, I will experience, what they call happily ever after. For now… I am allergic to any Indoda (men).”  

Matlaila also revealed in 2021 that she survived an abusive relationship and did not mention any names or get into too many details.    

“I encountered severe near-death abuse from somebody that I thought I would spend forever with.”    

The mother of two took off her wearing her wedding band and deleted all her wedding pictures from her Instagram account.    

Fans of the actress have also noticed that she hasn’t spoken about her husband or taken any pictures with him recently.

PEBETSI MATLAILA: THE DEVIL IS AFTER ME  

The actress also said in September 2021 that she believes the devil is after her as she went through a lot of traumatic things.  

“I encountered severe near-death abuse from somebody that I thought I would spend forever with.”  

She also opened up about her near-death delivery and explained that she almost lost her life and her baby’s life.    

“… also having a near-death experience during my delivery, which was actually not a near-death experience, I died for three minutes.”  

“Since this year began actually, my existence on earth has been tried and tested.”

“High health risks, car accident, Depression and Anxiety, fatally challenging birth experience.”

“So literally, God gave me a second chance at life. I will never take it for granted again.”
