South African media personality Sizwe Dhlomo has once again come under fire for one of his tweets. The radio personality shared his thoughts on Eskom employees. According to him, they work very hard despite the company failing to successfully keep the country’s electricity supply stable.

The tweet evidently didn’t sit well with his followers who quickly headed to complain about the endless amount of load shedding South Africa is currently being subjected to.

Sizwe Dhlomo dragged over praises Eskom employees

Metro FM radio host Sizwe Dhlomo is well known for his controversial opinions on social media.

The successful media personality who recently opened up about not drinking or smoking, evidently gets a kick out of ruffling feathers on the world wide web.

This time he managed to do so with a tweet about hard working Eskom employees. According to him, many people take the fact that some of the struggling power giants’ employees are actually doing their best.

“Do you guys know how hard the people at Eskom work? Generally speaking?” he asked in a tweet.

This after another app user questioned how the company’s employees are still receiving full salaries despite being unable to keep the lights on.

Mzansi is not having it

The fact that SA is facing power cuts daily for hours at a time has clearly angered social media users too much to make sense of Sizwe’s tweets.

Many of them remarked that having working electricity should serve as the proof of Eskom employees’ hard work.

“Working hard and failing at deliverables? What kind of hard work is that?” one person asked while another said:

“People who work very hard don’t need spokespersons……..electricity availability should speak for them.”
