The popular live-mix deejay, DJ DooWop whose real name is Khetsiwe Morgan got married to her long-time partner Hakim Malema in a wedding ceremony that stayed true to their personalities and style.

The unique wedding details

The wedding according to TimesLive was as unique as their individual styles. The colour theme of the ceremony was white, purple and turquoise. The pair received celebratory messages from well-wishers after they shared the images from the wedding on their respective social media platforms. The groom expressed his gratitude for all the messages in a post.

“ I am so happy that we got to do this our way. My new nickname is Sob Story, not because I’m miserable but I couldn’t stop crying tears of joy”, describing the emotions he felt during the day of the nuptials.

Hakim followed up the post with a post of gratitude for all those who were in attendance on their wedding day, “ Thank you to everyone who shared” in this moment. You could have been anywhere but you were with us”.

The live-mix deejay recently embarked on an international tour that saw her bringing her uniqe sound to music lovers in Paris, New York, Ibiza and London. She has also released a mixtape titled Izinja Zeb’suku and has appeared in television commercials and television shows.
