Sithelo Shozi – the baby mama of Royal AM Chairman Andile Mpisane – has taken both him and his mother, Shauwn Mkhize, aka “MaMkhize,” to court over allegations they abducted her eldest daughter Florence in March 2022. She’s also named Minister of Police: Bheki Cele in court papers…

The influencer and DJ is accusing the mother-and-son duo of child abduction and refusing to allow her to see her daughter in over ten months.

Sithelo has two children with Andile; three-year-old Florence and one-year-old Coco Likuwe. She also has a son from a previous relationship. Meanwhile, Andile Mpisane shares daughter Miaandy with wife Tamia.

ANDILE MPISANE, MAMKHIZE ACCUSED OF KIDNAPPING CHILD

In papers filed in the Johannesburg High Court last week, Sithelo Shozi alleged that not only did Andile Mpisane and MaMkhize “unlawfully and unconstitutionally” abduct her child last year, but relocated her from Durban to Johannesburg without her permission.

According to Sithelo, Florence and her sister Coco were dropped off at the Mkhize/Mpisane home in La Lucia in March 2022. The mother-of-three claims that MaMkhize had requested to see her grandchildren, of which she obliged.

But while Coco was returned home, Sithelo alleges MaMkhize claimed that Florence was ill and requested to care for her in her home. Almost a year later, Florence has not been reunited with her mother.

According to TimesLive, Sithelo stated in her 24-page affidavit: “For over ten months now, there has been no further communication [on her illness] … It’s clear that [Mpisane and Mkhize] had ulterior motives — which is to abduct [her]”.

In her sworn statement, Sithelo added that both Andile Mpisane and MaMkhize moved Florence to Johannesburg. This, without her knowledge or consent. She adds that she has been denied visitation.

Sithelo continued: “I would often have a WhatsApp video call, but I have since been blocked by the helper and have no access to the child at all.’

Sithelo is seeking the court to take action to have her daughter returned to her immediately.

MESSY CUSTODY BATTLE

In the court papers, Sithelo Shozi also requests an interdict which states that neither Andile Mpisane nor mom MaMkhize may remove either of her daughters from her home without her written consent.

And she’s also not open to negotiating a custody agreement, until Florence is returned home.

She added: “I cannot bring myself to negotiate a settlement concerning my child and her abductors.

“I would have been amenable to entertain any settlement negotiations with [Mpisane] if the child is returned home where she should be”.

Andile and MaMkhize’s attorney Ntsako Godi has denied all allegations, reports TimesLive.

Last year, Sithelo Shozi charged Andile Mpisane with assault after claiming he had been physically abusive during their relationship. She is seeking a permanent protection order.

Her case is pending.

BHEKI CELE NAMED IN PAPERS TOO

Meanwhile, police minister Bheki Cele has been named as the “third respondent” in Sithelo’s child abduction allegations.

However, Sithelo makes no other mention of the minister in her affidavit.

MaMkhize and Bheki Cele are cited as having a long-term friendship. According to Kick Off, Cele was recently spotted on board a luxury yacht cruise with MaMkhize and her family earlier this month.
