Radio presenter and club DJ Lerato Kganyago expressed her gratitude to rapper Boity Thulo for looking out for her some years ago when she was attacked and compared to Bonang Matheba.

According to ZAlebs, the Metro FM presenter took to Instagram this week to thank Boity, saying she “saved her life”.

In a heartwarming post on the social media platform, Lerato wrote:

“I bumped into you the other day reminding you how much I appreciate you. Forever grateful for what you did over the years. You saved my life, thank you,” she wrote.

In response, Boity said, “Love you always sis.”

During Lerato Kganyago and Musa Khawula’s feud on social media last week, the media personality mentioned her loyalty to Boity, adding that she is indebted to the Wuz Dat? rapper.

Her beef with Musa started when the controversial blogger referred to her as “Bonang lite” while giving commentary about her Durban July dress on 2 July.

However, according to Lerato, Musa has been tormenting and bullying her since 2013 along with his celebrity friend the club DJ refused to mention.

Their back and forth resulted in Lerato releasing information about Musa, claiming he was a convicted criminal. She also alleged that he caused her miscarriage back in 2013. In response, Musa accused Lerato’s “criminal boyfriend” of threatening him, saying he will “tweet in heaven.”

This was not the end of their twar, however, as Lerato then took to Instagram Live on Tuesday night to expose Musa some more.

In a very emotional IG Live, Lerato claimed that Musa’s celebrity friend in question had hosted a dinner with fellow celebs some years ago in a bid to bash her. Present at the dinner was Minnie Dlamini, Bonang Matheba, Somizi, Morale, Tall A$$ Mo and other celebrities.

During that dinner, which aired on Vuzu, Boity was the only one who defended Lerato against the late Kuli Roberts who took jabs at her as she claimed the radio presenter was trying very hard to be like Bonang. Kuli, who was the host, added that she was glad Lerato was not present at the table because she had not invited her anyway.
