The Sarafina actor Somizi Mhlongo has celebrated Freedom Day like never before.

Sarafina is one of most popular dramas ever produced in South Africa.

It was a drama that launched the careers of stars like Somizi Mhlongo and Leleti Khumalo.

The Sarafina drama was all about South Africa’s cry for freedom, which is relevant as the nation celebrates Freedom Day.

Undoubtedly, Sarafina gave Somizi the breakthrough he wanted as a young artist, and today, he celebrates Freedom Day as a star.

It was indeed a lazy day for Somizi as he rested and enjoyed himself at home, after waking up early to prepared his delicious breakfast.

Somizi had had some juicy meat he had prepared the night before, and it looked delicious, as fans commented on his post.

Thando Thabethe then ruined Somizi’s Freedom Day after correcting him in a ‘rude’ way. He responded by sharing a video on Instagram with his fans, and Lerato Kganyago agreed.

As he celebrates Freedom Day, Sarafina star actor Somizi said:

SOMIZI’S WONDERFUL CAREER LATER

After introducing himself to South African entertainment, he has had a remarkable career.

Today we celebrate freedom with Sarafina star Somizi as one of the finest artists South Africa has ever had.

He later performed as a choreographer at the 2010 FIFA World Cup hosted by South Africa. There he showed the whole world that Somizi was a star to be recognised by the world.
