Royal author Tom Quinn claims that Prince William is “absolutely furious” over Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s trip to Nigeria.

PRINCE WILLIAM REPORTEDLY ‘FURIOUS’ OVER HARRY AND MEGHAN’S NIGERIA TRIP

Tom Quinn, a royal author and expert, claims that Prince William is “absolutely furious” over Prince Harry and his wife, Meghan Markle’s trip to Nigeria. Prince Harry and Meghan were invited to the country by Nigeria’s Chief of Defense Staff, the country’s highest-ranking military official. According to The Mirror, the couple stayed in Nigeria for a total of three days.

Just before Prince Harry’s trip to Nigeria, he visited London, UK, without Meghan. However, Daily Mail reported that Meghan flew from Los Angeles to Heathrow Airport, UK, to meet with Prince Harry at the VIP Windsor Suite.

However, it seems Prince William was reportedly not happy about the Sussexes trip to Nigeria. According to the royal author, everything you would expect from a royal visit was seen in the pair’s trip to Nigeria.

“Everything you might expect from an official royal visit was there — the receptions, the visits to schools and charities, to wounded soldiers and the disabled. William is absolutely furious and determined to find a way to stop this happening in future. Charles is said to be angrier than anyone has ever seen him,” said Quinn to The Mirror.

Prince Harry and Meghan quit their roles as senior working members of the royal family in 2020. The pair then moved to California, US, where they started a new life with their family. Together, Prince Harry and Meghan have two children – Prince Archie (4) and Princess Lilibet (2).

OFFICIAL ROYAL TOUR FOR THE NIGERIANS?

Quinn went on to say that what added fuel to the fire was that the Nigerians treated the Sussexes as if they were on a royal tour.

“What’s really upset the applecart is the fact that the Nigerians treated Meghan and Harry as if they too thought this was an official tour – all the signs were there as the couple were greeted with dances, receptions, visits to schools and charities,” he said to The Mirror.

Quinn also went on to say that King Charles and Prince William are trying to figure out how to control the situation.

“William and Charles are scratching their heads and thinking, ‘How are we going to control this nightmare situation?” he continued.
