Thomas Markle, Meghan Markle’s father is pretty serious about seeing his grandchildren. So serious, that he is weighing his legal options and could take action against his daughter and Prince Harry.

“I will be petitioning the California courts for the rights to see my grandchildren in the very near future,” 77-year-old said in an interview with FOX News just recently.

Meghan’s father has done several interviews in the past year or so and has been vocal about being estranged from the Suits actress and having not met his grandchildren, two-year-old Archie and Lilibet, who’s two months old.

Meghan and her father haven’t been on the best of terms since he was caught staging paparazzi photos not too long before she was set to marry Prince Harry. He was unable to attend the nuptials after suffering from a heart attack. Markle admitted he had made a mistake, supposedly referring to the staged photos, but bemoaned Meghan and Harry for punishing him for it.

Thomas Markle appeals to Queen Elizabeth

Thomas Markle, a retired Hollywood lighting director, has also urged Prince Harry’s grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II, to not punish Lilibet and Archie for their parents’ “bad behaviour.”

“We shouldn’t be punishing [Lili] for Meghan and Harry’s bad behaviour. Archie and Lili are small children. They’re not politics. They’re not pawns. They’re not part of the game. And they’re also royal and entitled to the same rights as any other royal,” Markle said.

It was recently announced that Prince Harry will be releasing a memoir in 2022. Well, Markle has slammed his son in-law for the move.

“Harry doesn’t have too much more to tell. After three sessions with the psychiatrists and Oprah Winfrey, I don’t know what more is there to tell,” Markle said.
