Prince Albert and Princess Charlene of Monacco have already confirmed their attendance to the royal coronation, among others.

The invitations to King Charles III and Queen Consort Camilla’s coronation have finally been revealed, and the design boasts a few special nods.

THE KING’S CORONATION INVITATIONS REVEALED

King Charles and Queen Consort Camilla’s royal coronation invitations have finally been revealed and the design is rather spectacular.

Designed by Andrew Jamieson, the invitation features the motif of the Green Man, an ancient figure from British folklore, symbolic of spring and rebirth, to celebrate the new reign, the royal Instagram revealed.

“Their Majesties’ arms, the emblematic flowers of the UK, and a British wildflower meadow and wildlife are all included on the design, which was hand-painted in watercolour and gouache, and will be reproduced and printed on recycled card, with gold foil detailing, for the 2,000 invited guests,” the palace explains.

According to The Sun, the invitation also features rosemary – symbolises remembrance – as part of a tribute to Her late Majesty.

THE WHOS WHO ARE ON THE ROYAL CORONATION GUEST LIST

Invitations to the King’s coronation has already been sent out, and royal followers have been waiting with baited breath to get a glimpse of the guest list.

As expected, foreign royal families and members of parliament have been invited and Prince Albert and Princess of Charlene will l “definitely go,” The Sun reports.

MPs to the likes of Prime Minister Rishi Sunak and former PMs Boris Johnson, Tony Blair, and Gordon Brown are expected to attend, the publication reports.

Representatives from faiths, the Commonwealth and charity leaders are all expected to receive an invite, as per The Sun.

WESTMINSTER ABBEY REPLICA BUILT FOR REHEARSALS

Workers in Buckingham Palace built a scale version of Westminster Abbey in the palace ballroom, The Sun reports.

The Royal family is busy preparing for the coronation on Saturday, 6 May.

King Charles III and Queen Consort Camilla are said to start rehearsing parts of the ceremony ahead of the event.

A source close to the palace told MailOnline: “It is a big undertaking. There are a lot of steps and a lot of people taking part. They need to rehearse, and this seemed the perfect way.”

The publication reports that other senior royal family members, including the Prince and Princess of Wales, will also partake in practice sessions.
