Andile Mpisane has had a busy year – both on the professional and personal front. The Royal AM chairperson has topped the Twitter trends list multiple times this year.

Royal AM Chairman becomes a player!
In September, the Royal AM chairman made his debut as a player in the team. To add insult to injury, Andile assumed the role of captain.
If that wasn’t enough to have tweeps in stitches, Andile showed off his ball skills in front of a stadium of Kaizer Chiefs fans – but failed dismally!

Mom Shauwn “MaMkhize” also stepped in, insisting that the family had not paid the coach to select him for the squad.

Music performance
Besides being a soccer boss, player, and father of three, Andile is also a budding amapiano artist.
But music fans – particularly at live gigs – don’t seem to find him very entertaining after his performances were hailed a “Royal AM flop.”

Car and clothes collection
Andile is the undisputed king of all things Gucci. But he’s also an avid luxury car collector.
This year, he’s added multiple luxury vehicles to his garage; including a R2.7 million Nissan GT-R, a R2.1 million BMW i8, and a chrome-finished McLaren GT valued at over R4 million.

Abuse allegations
But perhaps the most disturbing headlines about Andile were claims made by his ex Sithelo Shozi who accused him of brutally beating her throughout their relationship.
According to the DJ, Andile beat her so violently that she miscarried her unborn baby. She’s since charged him with assault and applied for a permanent protection order.
Andile has denied the allegations.

Demanding a paternity test
If domestic abuse wasn’t enough to contend with, Sithelo claims that Andile demanded that he have a paternity test done for one of their two children.
According to a statement by Andile, he was unsure if the child was his due to “rumours of infidelity” on Sithelo’s part.
