RIP Ntsimbi: Samthing Soweto mourns his Boerboel [watch]
South African musician Samthing Soweto was comforted by his fans on Instagram after he shared a video of his late Boerboel Ntsimbi.

Samthing Soweto’s dog Ntsimbi died, and the Akulaleki hitmaker paid tribute to his pet on Instagram yesterday (3 February) by sharing a video of Ntsimbi and captioning it, “RIP Ntsimbi, until we meet again 🙏🏿.”

The musician’s fans and followers showered him with heartfelt messages of condolences when he announced the death of his Boerboel Ntsimbi.
According to American Kennel Club,
“Boerboels are intimidating but discerning guardians of love and family who learned their trade while protecting remote South African homesteads from ferocious predators. They are dominant and confident, also bright and eager to learn.”
Samthing Soweto shared a clip of Ntsimbi where the Boerboel could be seen showing love to his owner by licking his owner’s face. The Amagents hitmaker welcomed Ntsimbi’s embrace as he sat on the pavement, caressing his dog.
The huge Boerboel then walked over and greeted a neighbour and was shown more affection.
After viewing the video, netizens were amazed at how big but gentle Ntsimbi was and comforted the Asante Sana hitmaker for his loss in the comment section.
According to News24, Samthing Soweto struggled with depression last year. He reportedly made a video explaining his weight loss to his fans, saying he was going through something that many people go through.
His celebrity friends reportedly supported the confession, such as Grammy-award-winning DJ Black Coffee and Dumi Mkokstad.
The Andinanto hitmaker’s fans also came in numbers and shared words of encouragement with him.
