ACTIVIST KUMI NAIDOO PROMISES TO LAUNCH A RIKY TICK FOUNDATION

Another mourner at the funeral was Kumi Naidoo (Riky’s father-in-law) who promised the rapper that they would continue his legacy and vision of establishing a foundation.

One thing that stood out for many South Africans since the news of the award-winning rapper’s passing is that he cared about the youth. Which is something Naidoo highlighted at the funeral.

In our last conversation you said mom and I need to help you with your core vision, which is to support young people. You were so concerned about young people at risk but you also wanted young people to have the same chances that you had to break into music, arts and culture,” TimesLIVE quoted him as saying.

Naidoo added that they would work with the late star’s fans in order to make this vision a reality.

Mama and I and and the rest of the family will work with your fans to bring this vision to light and ensure there will be a foundation set up in your name to serve young people in Africa.

-Naidoo added.
