FOUR THINGS TO KNOW ABOUT GLORIA ARENDZ

In the latest episode of the Real Housewives van die Wynlande, viewers got introduced to the sister of well-known South African designer Errol Arendz, Gloria. And the housewives even got to spend some time at her lavish Camps Bay home, Enigma. But if you want to know more about the magnetic woman, we’ve got you covered.

SHE IS MARRIED TO A SWISS BUSINESSMAN 

In 2005 during a lavish ceremony in Franschhoek, Gloria got married to Swiss businessman Rolf Theiler. For most parts of the year, the couple lives in Zurich. Rolf is the former president of the Laureus Foundation Switzerland.

THE BROTHER-SISTER FIGHT THAT MADE HEADLINES

Gloria and Errol made headlines in 2007 when she sued her brother for how he was running their family business. She accused him of making decisions behind her back. According to IOL, Errol Arendz Fashion Designer cc was incorporated in 1986. Gloria held a 35 percent stake in the company then, while Errol, as the creative force, had 65 percent.

THE COUPLE’S LARGE INTERNATIONAL PROPERTY PORTFOLIO

Apart from owning Enigma House, which they snatched up for a cool R99 million in 2015, Gloria and Rolf also own international properties, which includes Chalet Eugenia in the Alpine town of Klosters, frequented by the British Royal family, City Press reports.

MOM OF THREE

Gloria and Rolf have three children, two daughters, and a son.
