Two years ago, popular local artist Rasta started teasing us with a painting of South African businesswoman and Royal AM owner Shauwn “MaMkhize” Mkhize and her son Andile Mpisane – the son of Sbu Mpisane.

All along, Rasta would share snippets of the painting while his social media followers begged him to reveal the final product. And now finally he has finished the painting and handed it to MaMkhize who graciously accepted the special gift.

Rasta finally gives MaMkhize her portrait

In 2021, Rasta revealed that he was painting a portrait of MaMkhize and her only son Andile.

While Rasta usually paints people within an unbelievably short space of time, this painting took him quite some time.

Finally this year after many months of teasing and doing paintings for other Mzansi stars, Rasta has completed the painting handed it over to the people he intended it for.

His followers share hilarious responses

Ignoring the fact that Rasta had taken so long to perfect the painting, many of his followers soon started trolling his hard work.

According them, the people in the painting looks nothing like MaMkhize and her boy.

Of course there were a few die-hard supporters who encouraged Rasta to keep fighting the good fight.
