More tragic news coming out of the local arts industry: Local Amapiano artists Mpura and Killer Kau have passed away.

There hasn’t been an official statement on the musicians’ deaths, but both Sunday World and TshisaLIVE have cited sources who have confirmed it.

The circumstances remain unclear at this stage but it is believed that the pair died in a fatal car accident on their way to a performance in Rustenburg, along with a third person. Earlier others speculated that fellow Amapiano star Kabza De Small had also died because he was with them the day before, but he has since spoken out and assured his fans that he is alive and well.
