COCONUT KELZ SKIT POKES FUN AT WHITE PEOPLE…AGAIN

Following Queen Elizabeth’s death on Thursday 8 September, Coconut Kelz returned to social media with another tongue-in-cheek skit.

Titled London Bridge Is Down, the spoof video mocked royal fans – and Black Twitter.

The blonde personality – which claims to be a “young Caucasian woman trapped in a black woman’s body” – claimed to have “just got back from Balmoral” – the Scottish palace in which the Queen died.

In another skit, Coconut Kelz also poked fun at Meghan Markle, who she jokingly claimed was busy peeling vegetables ahead of Queen Elizabeth’s mass funeral, set to take place on 19 September.

QUEEN CRITICISM: ‘APOLOGISE FOR WHAT?’

But whilst Coconut Kelz was publicly inundated with praise over her comedic content about the Queen, Lesego revealed that she had been criticised privately by “older, mainly white liberals”.

Taking to her Instagram Story, the award-winning media personality clapped back at her critics.

She said in part:

“They’ll tell me they like my videos until it touches them…then they message me and tell me they used to like me, but now they don’t.  Or that I ‘took it too far’ and they expect that I’ll what? Delete it? Apologise for hurting their feelings through exposing what they obviously feel or touching on a subject they think is too sensitive.

“It’s a weird entitlement that says if I don’t do what you like, you will take away your approval – even when I didn’t ask for it.

Defending her message, Coconut Kelz tweeted:

“I don’t make videos with the intention to offend. But if the shoe fits… And wanting me to ‘behave’ (whatever that means) so that you’re not uncomfortable is peak caucasity. Let’s interrogate why a video made you uncomfortable but not think trying to intimidate me is going to work

“Lastly, like 80% of what I say in my videos is from comments I’ve actually read online so if you don’t like it, tell people to stop being so ridiculous lol!”
