Prince Harry’s friend Prince Seeiso of Lesotho revealed the African name that he gave the Duke of Sussex in the Netflix docuseries Harry & Meghan which released on Thursday 8 December.

PRINCE HARRY GIVEN AN AFRICAN NAME 

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex set tongues wagging with the release of their controversial docuseries Harry & Meghan. In the docuseries, Prince Harry’s friend, Prince Seeiso of Lesotho spoke about the duke’s trip to to Lesotho in 2004.

He said that the duke was there to learnt and it was visible that he was much like his mom – Princess Diana.

“I felt the warmth and acceptance that ‘okay I’m here in Lesotho, I may not know about Lesotho and I am here to learn, I’m not here to tell’. Immediate reaction, not only to me but to the community, I could see that Harry is very much his mother,” said Prince Seeiso.

“We even gave him a name actually. A Sotho name – Mohale, which means warrior. Harry is the warrior in spirit and the warrior in character,” he continued.

Mohale is the name of media personality Somizi Mhlongo’s estranged husband Mohale Motaung.

MEGHAN AND HARRY TOOK A TRIP TO BOTSWANA BEFORE RELATIONSHIP WENT PUBLIC 

Meghan Markle also revealed that the third time she saw the duke was when they took a 10-day trip to Botswana.

“That summer (2016) I was supposed to be hiatus from work but I had travel plans and a cast mate of mine said just make sure during your summer plans you make room for magic,” she said.

“And then as we were talking about when we were going to see each other next and he said I have to go to Africa, I’m doing some conservation work… so he said do you want to come to Botswana?” she continued.

The duke said that he was astonished that she agreed to come to African with him.

“I was astonished that she said yes. This woman that I’ve only met twice she’s coming to Botswana… wow,” he said.
