Pamela Mtanga claps back at ‘Sunday World’ over tweet

Pamela Mtanga recently served receipts to Sunday World who told that she must stop imitating Bonang with her twang.

It seems like the days of influencers and content producers being trolled by media houses and expecting them to just take it are gone. This is the case of Pamela Mtanga and celebrated tabloid Sunday World.

Pamela serves Sunday World receipts

The publication posted a shady tweet aimed at the content creator and broadcaster by stating that basically she should stop pretending to be another Bonang Matheba by overusing her twang when she is pronouncing her name and surname. The irony is that Bonang once praised Pamela and hinted in the tweet that Pamela is next in line to the throne.

The influencer who has a combined social media following of 428 400+ clapped back by stating why should she stop now when she is laughing all the way to the bank using her twang. The fact that the publication threw shade like this at the content creator may come across as a form of bullying or just a form of clickbait.

The content creator’s fans definitely did not hold back when it came to defending their favourite content creator.  The general attitude of the posts was that the publication is no longer relevant and is trying to get attention by piggy backing off Pamela’s fame.
