South African musician and businessman Oscar Mdlongwa, popularly known as Oskido, recently inspired his millions of followers after heading back to school to complete a course in project management at the University of Pretoria. It appears the well-known media mogul is all about self-improvement and recently headed online to share with his followers how important it is to invest in bettering themselves continuously- something he is evidently doing for himself.

Oskido encourages people to ‘invest in themselves’

Just a few weeks ago, musician DJ Zinhle treated her close friend and mentor Oskido to a graduation party after he managed to complete a short course with flying colours.

Clearly proud of his accomplishment, the Kalawa Jazzme studio owner has headed online to share some words of inspiration with his followers regarding the importance of continually working on one’s self and reaching greater heights.

“It’s never too late to be what you want to be, go out there and make sure that you follow your dreams. Once you know what you want to do, focus on it. Invest in yourself. That’s the best thing you can do.“

“Even slay queens invest in themselves, they identify the big spenders and attack them. They’ve mastered the slay queen game. So whatever department or whatever God has given you, whatever you want to do, make sure that you focus on it. If you make mistakes you learn, what’s key is that you invest in yourself and that interest is for life,” he wrote.

Leading by example

The esteemed music producer and artist has proven that he is all about levelling up and in the last few years opened a restaurant, went back to school, and ventured into real estate.

Judging by his pace, he probably has some more boss moves up his sleeve.
