Back in 2015, Pistorius was placed under house arrest at his uncle’s mega-million rand mansion in Waterkloof, Pretoria.

He was placed under house arrest after he served 12 months of a six-year prison sentence for culpable homicide.

According to Mail Online, Pistorius reportedly had three houses, including two townhouses.

In 2006 and 2008, he bought two townhouses in the gated community of Silver Country Woods Estate, where he murdered his girlfriend, Reeva Steenkamp.

He bought the first townhouse for R674 900 and later paid R800 000 for the second one.

His residential house in Pretoria made headlines thanks to its architectural design made it stand out above the rest.

It boasted four bedrooms, five entertaining areas, three lock-up garages and a sparkling pool.

In 2011 the mansion was put on the market, with real estate agents pricing it at R6.5 million.

However, it was taken off the market because it did not sell.

Against the backdrop of his trial, Pistorius had to sell the mansion for R4.5 million to foot his escalating legal costs.

A CURSED MANSION WORTH MILLIONS

Two years after its sale, the mansion made headlines again.

In 2015 it was reported empty because tenants were put off by its gruesome past.

By then, the owner Louwtije Louwrens, once revealed that the house had become a problem after his purchase.
