Nonku Williams on ‘RHOD’: ‘I’ve grown so much since the first season’

The first episode of Real Housewives of Durban (RHOD) season two is set to premiere on Friday 28 January. RHOD star Nonku Williams is set to return to the second season of the Showmax original and says since the first season, she has developed a thick skin and has grown.
NONKU WILLIAMS ON ‘RHOD’ SEASON ONE
Nonku Williams was a season favourite on RHOD since the first episode. The mother-of-three introduced herself as a businesswoman who does “a whole lot of things”. Towards the end of the episode, Nonku dropped a bombshell at dinner with the ladies that no one was prepared for…
Nonku told Ayanda Ncwane that her daughter Nothile was Ayanda’s late husband’s child. This news left everyone and Ayanda shocked but later through the series, the ladies grew closer.

NONKU ON SEASON TWO
Speaking to TshisaLive, Nonku shared that she was excited to return to RHOD saying she enjoys the show “with all its flaws”. The reality television star also addressed her relationship with Ayanda Ncwane.
“I’ve grown so much from the first season. I’ve learnt to understand that not everyone is for you and that’s okay. My main reason for being on the show is my message.”
“I saw people speaking of my obsession with Ayanda and I don’t know where that is coming from. Bringing up Sfiso in the first season was only for my daughter’s sake, for me and her to get closure, which I did in a way but that was not my only content.”

WHAT TO EXPECT ON ‘RHOD’ SEASON TWO
Nonku Williams will be joined by season one housewives Sorisha Naidoo, Nonkanyiso “LaConco” Conco and Annie-Toni Ludick Mthembu on RHOD season two. New additions to the show include singer Londie London, Jojo Robinson and Thobile “MaKhumlo” Mseleku.
Nonku mentioned that she formed a good relationship with Thobile on the show.
“I really like Thobile and a lot of people will be surprised. I think we gel well because she is mature, I don’t know if it’s a mutual feeling but on my side, I really do gel well with her.”
