Forbes Africa celebrates Nomcebo with Top Entertainer Award

It’s been one win after the next for Grammy Award winner Nomcebo Zikode, and this time, on 9 March, she took to Instagram to announce she was awarded the Top Entertainer Award by Forbes Women Africa and had her online followers congratulating her abundantly.

NOMCEBO ZIKODE BAGS TOP ENTERTAINER AWARD BY FORBES AFRICA

The Bayethe hitmaker praised God for putting her on top once more and said she could not believe how her life had changed from just three years ago.

She shared a series of pictures from the red carpet event held for the ceremony and wrote,

“God is showing off once again; if someone had told me I’d be here 3 years ago, I would’ve laughed in their face, but here we are!

“I was awarded the Top Entertainer Award by Forbes Women Africa to top off an amazing day spent with phenomenal, successful women,” Zikode added.

‘THANK YOU TO FORBES’: THE MUSICIAN ON HER GRATITUDE

In another post, Zikode thanked Forbes Women Africa for the accolade and honour of having been a keynote speaker at the event, saying,

“Perseverance and grit allowed me to overcome all the obstacles that came against me.

“Thank you to Forbes Africa for the recognition not only as a global musician but also as a keynote speaker; the work you have done to empower women from all walks of life is outstanding!”

According to KayaFM, the musician was grateful to have been recognised by Forbes Africa and was quoted as saying,

“There’s so much happening in this industry – when I say so much, I mean going through so much. So for me as a woman to be recognised by Forbes Africa is great.”
