Met Gala mayhem: Rapper Nicki Minaj threatened to ‘smack the s**t out of’ a red carpet reporter at the prestigious event on Monday night.

The Met Gala may be one of the industry’s prestigious events – and helmed by fashion “snob” Anna Wintour, but that didn’t stop Nicki Minaj from not putting on her best behaviour
To the shock and horror of distinguished guests, the rapper – who made another appearance at the VIP event on Monday night – threaten to “smack the s***” out of a reporter on the red carpet.

MET GALA MAYHEM
In a TikTok clip that went viral following the Met Gala on Monday night, Nicki Minaj is seen walking the red carpet on the arm of designer Ricardo Tisci.
The moment was captured by entertainment journalist Sharon Carpenter, who claimed that Nicki accused another reporter of leaking information about her attendance.
When greeted by a reporter on the sidelines who attempted to get the attention, the star screamed: “Hey you. Are you the man that leaked that I was gonna be here?”
A voice off-camera can then be heard saying, “Me?”. Nicki Minaj then responded: “Yeah you. It was you. About to come up to you and smack the s*** out of you. Come here.”

The clip then ends abruptly with fans unsure if Nicki Minaj did approach the reporter or not.

Back in 2015, Nicki confronted Miley Cyrus at the Video Music Awards over comments the latter made about the rapper.
In a tense stand-off, Nicki looked Miley square in the eyes on stage and said: “And now, back to this b***h that had a lot to say about me the other day in the press the other day. Miley, what’s good?”
Nicki Minaj has also had bad blood with singer Mariah Carey dating back to their American Idol judging days.
According to The Guardian, Nicki once threatened to “knock” Mariah out and “chop her head off”.
She said in one shocking clip to Mariah: “Think this shit is a f**king joke? If you got a f**king problem then handle it … I’m not f**king putting up with her f**king highness over there. If I had a gun, I would shoot her.”
