‘New creation in Christ’: Inside Tumelo Modiselle’s baptism [Video]

On her baptism day, Tumelo Modisele said she is now a new creation of Christ, as fans praise her for turning down Konka and groove.

Actress and TV personality Tumelo Modiselle says she is now a new creation in Christ on her baptism day.

The bubbly actress had been so joyful that she had decided to live a life worthy of Christ.

She is happy that she took this decision as an adult, even though she was once baptised as a child.

Sharing on her Instagram, Tumelo penned a lengthy message showing how happy she is about her baptism.

She thanked her spiritual family saying:

“My spiritual family at @everynation.rosebank, my Connect group that never ceases to pray for me when I need it most, thank you! You know yourselves. I love you all. And of course my FAMILY that were all there to witness this moment, I wouldn’t be here without you Mama, @refilwemodiselle @bontle.modiselle @priddy_ugly Aus Tshidi and my Afrika ♥️ I love you.”

INSIDE TUMELO MODISELLE’S BAPTISM

After confessing her intention to be a follower of Christ, Tumelo got her baptism.

After the ceremony, she took it so Instagram to share with her fans what all this means to her, saying:

“On the 28th of May, I became a NEW CREATION IN CHRIST. For context, I was baptised as a baby, far too young to understand the magnitude of this moment. I imagine many of us can relate 😄” she said.

“Now that I am older and wiser, I have decided: To not be casual about the things of The Kingdom. There is an urgency for revival in our nation and we cannot afford to not submit to the King of Kings. This public declaration confirms that I KNOW WHO I AM and I dedicate my life to helping young people discover that they too are fearfully and wonderfully made, set apart, loved, called and chosen as the righteous sons and daughters of the Almighty. I also long to help us all navigate our way through the hopelessness and brokenness that our nation is plagued with.”Tumelo Modiselle continued speaking of her baptism.

“I have decided to partner with Christ in all things. Every milestone through Him, in Him and for His glory. IT FEELS SO GOOD TO BE HERE!!!! I am forever grateful for everyone that’s held my hand, discipled me and led me back home. @_neomafokwane and @yvonnepunadi, a simple “Thank you” couldn’t quantify my appreciation. I could write paragraphs about how deeply you’ve impacted my walk with Christ and I pray my life is filled with the fruits of the seeds you deposit in me weekly. A special thank you to @rorisangt.
