Following Kaizer Chiefs 0-3 loss to Al Ahly at the CAF Champions League final, actress Natasha Thahane, who is the girlfriend of Orlando Pirates player Thembinkosi Lorch, posted a video poking fun at the soccer team via social media on 18 July.

Since her relationship became official with Lorch, Blood & Water star Natasha Thahane cannot seem to stop trolling Kaizer Chiefs.

From the team “goodluck” on Twitter to later retweeting her well wishes, saying “I was hacked” in Arabic, Thatane has been bold in her trolling of the soccer team.

President Cyril Ramaphosa also took to Twitter to wish Kaizer Chiefs well amid the unrest that has been taking place in certain parts of the country last week.

“We are a country of many facets. As we rebuild after a challenging week, we must pause to wish @KaizerChiefs well ahead of their encounter against Al Ahly. Unity must be the fruit of success on the field. Give Pitso our warmest regards as you go for gold,” wrote President Ramaphosa.

The actress has always been an Orlando Pirates fan so this does not come as a surprise. In her next attempt to ridicule Kaizer Chiefs, the actress made a 45-second-long video where she pretended to be a news anchor, with the full on news soundtrack.

“Now football,” said Thatane.

“Al Ahly 3 – 0 Kaizer Chiefs” read the text on the video.

The actress then proceeded to laugh at the team for the next 15 seconds, showing her loyalty to her boyfriends team.

Lorch and Thahane sparked relationship rumours in June when the pair were on vacation in Zanzibar together. The “Twitter Police” noticed the pair had taken pictures at the same spot on their vacation and put two and two together. Tweeps thereafter found a few more pictures where the duo were at the same place.

At first, Lorch denied dating Thahane. However, the pair later went “Instagram official” after being exposed by Tweeps. The couple now openly post each other on social media through their Instagram stories with cute captions. Lorch also posted a picture of the actress to his Instagram with the caption “Beke le beke❤️,” meaning “week in, week out” when translated to English.

The “Twitter Police” also tried to work their magic on rapper Sho Majozi and media personality Maps Maponyane as well as singer Kelly Khumalo and Kaizer Chiefs player Mthokozisi Yende.
