‘My lips were botched’: Mihlali Ndamase explains her lip filler fiasco [watch]
The YouTuber says she got her fillers removed because of the swelling and the negative comments on social media.

YouTuber and influencer, Mihlali Ndamase, has finally addressed her famous lip filler accident that trended on social media a few months ago.
Ndamase’s followers were not happy when they noticed that her lips were swollen after she posted a TikTok video back in August.
‘MY LIPS WERE BOTCHED’
The YouTuber has finally explained what happened to her lips in her latest video Get Ready With Me (GRWM).
Ndamase says she went to a popular aesthetician in August to get lip fillers because she didn’t want to rely on a lip liner anymore.
“I basically felt like my lips were botched and obviously quite a few people noticed. I mean you guys know how my face looks.”
She says she removed the fillers after she saw the negative comments about her lips on the TikTok video.
‘I got them dissolved. Hence, why my lips look normal right now.”
“I honestly didn’t do them because of any insecurity about my lips or any insecurity about my face in actual fact.”
“I honestly just wanted what I do to achieve a fuller lip but I wanted it naturally.”

The influencer says she loves the bridge on full lips and bought the bridge for around R5,500.
She also declined to not name and shame the aesthetician as she doesn’t want to ruin her reputation.
Ndamase also said she felt as though her lips looked huge immediately after getting the lip filler injections and that lip fillers are for people who have time to wait for the fillers to set and achieve the desired look.
“I work with my face, I definitely can’t shoot content with these and expect people not to notice.”
