‘I am not a single mother’: ‘BBM’ winner Mphowabadimo

Big Brother Mzansi (BBM) season three winner Mphowabadimo — real name Michele Dimpho Mvundla – welcomed her son last month which she shares with the season’s runner-up Themba “Broly” Mabaso.

MPHOWABADIMO ON HER PREGNANCY AND MOTHERHOOD JOURNEY

During a recent episode of her Diary Session show on YouTube, the sangoma opened up about the hardships she went through while pregnant and her motherhood journey.

“When the pregnancy started, it was not an easy time. It was not a joyous time. But I think me coming home was the perfect thing because it made me focus on my pregnancy, it made me focus on my baby and that is when I started to look at things differently,” she said.

Mphowabadimo – who is a mother to two boys – said that there were many instances during her first trimester where she felt like she was going to have give birth prematurely because of the stress she suffered.

The businesswoman said that motherhood is priceless and she wants to raise her boys the right way despite them having different father.

“I don’t want to raise my children as a broken parent. I want to raise them as a happy, healthy, free and strong woman that I am. I am not a single mother. I am a boy mom to two amazing boys.”

DEATH THREATS

In March, Mphowabadimo shared an update on her relationship status, saying she was single.

This was after allegations that Themba — who is also a musician — has been cheating on Mphowabadimo with the mother of his two children, Nqobile Khuzwayo.

In the same month, Mphowabadimo released a statement revealing that she is taking legal action after allegedly receiving death threats from people close to Themba Broly.

“I have been receiving death threats; from calls to texts threatening my life and my son’s life till today. Those threats have been direct, and it has created a very hostile situation for me and those close to me,” she said.

She continued: “I’ve been receiving pictures of my car, home, and son with threats.

“I m trying so hard to move away from this chapter but the defamation that has come with it hasn’t been pleasant to the extent of threats leading to my unborn baby, son, and myself,” she said.
