A year after shocking South Africans by accusing estranged husband Somizi Mhlongo of abusing him, Mohale Motaung has allegedly shared photos of the injuries he sustained during the abuse incidents. Taking to Twitter earlier today, gossip blogger Musa Khawula reshared the photos which show Mohale covered in what appears to be bruises and scratches.

Another photo shows Mohale’s car which he said was damaged by Somizi who tried to run him off the road during one of their many fights last year.

Mohale shares ‘proof’ of abuse at the hands of Somizi

In August last year, voice recordings of Mohale detailing the abuse he suffered at the hands of his media personality husband Somizi Mhlongo were leaked.

The clips went viral as South Africans divided themselves according to who they are choosing to support between the 26-year-old and 51-year-old Somizi.

Many people accused the radio personality and influencer of attempting to use Somizi for his wealth.

A year later, and Mohale – who recently spoke about his tumultuous relationship with the Idols SA judge in a tell-all interview – has shared photos of the injuries he sustained during the alleged abuse.

The photos were reshared on Twitter on 8 August this week by controversial gossip blogger Musa Khawula who also shared a photo of the car that was damaged by Somizi during another one of his fits of rage.

Mzansi reacts

After seeing the photos, many people still weren’t convinced that Mohale is an actual victim of abuse.

In fact, Twitter users mocked the radio presenter by remarking that the “injuries” may have been self-inflicted.

@WeetbixDr wrote:

“Injuries are now scratch marks and love bites.”

One Twitter user, @lihlelelogmail1 sympathised with Mohale and wrote:

“Omg 😱 I am so sorry Mohale.”

Somizi is yet to respond to the “evidence”.
