‘You deserve half’: Author Jackie Phamotse pens letter to Mohale

South African author and self-confessed former sugar baby, Jackie Phamotse has penned a lengthy open letter to Idols SA’s Somizi’s estranged hubby, Mohale Motaung. Her letter comes after Mohale revealed that he allegedly suffered abuse and mistreatment at the hands of his famous husband, Somizi.

Advice from an ex-sugar baby: Phamotse offers Mohale some ‘wise words’

Controversial South African author, Jackie Phamotse has offered Mohale Motaung, the recently estranged husband of Idols SA judge, Somizi, some advice and words of encouragement.

In a Twitter post on the 1st of August this year, Phamotse encouraged Mohale not to be scared anymore. In her post, Phamoste also writes she knows Mohale took a chance and found himself entangled in abuse but now is the time for him to ‘save himself’ and ‘fight for his life’.

“You are the only one who knows the truth, you were young! But you took a chance and here we are! Now you need to fight, you need to save your soul,” she wrote.

She also goes on to encourage Mohale to fight for half of everything because he “deserves it’, while offering to help him whenever he is ready to ask for her help.

“We have been seeing your pain, your sad eyes tell a story. Fight for your life back! And f*ck it! You deserve half of everything! Yes, I said it! But fix yourself first!” she wrote.

South Africans weigh in

Many South Africans have been left divided by Phamotso’s advice. While a lot of people have sided with Mohale and encouraged him to speak his truth, others have sided with Somizi:

Somhale: The beginning of the end

On Sunday 1st August Sunday World shared recordings of Mohale speaking about various incidents of abuse that he experienced before and during his marriage with Somizi. In the recordings, Mohale is heard detailing how Somizi once threatened to stab him with a kitchen knife after the two of them had an argument. Mohale also shares how he does not want half of Somizi’s estate but wants the reality TV star to buy him a new car after he allegedly rammed his Audi off the road during another incident of abuse.
