Somizi Mhlongo’s estranged husband, Mohale Motaung says he is happy, hurting and healing all the same time as he celebrated 52 therapy sessions.

The radio personality and actor took to Twitter to share the news.

MOHALE CELEBRATES 52ND THERAPY SESSION

Recently, Mohale has been letting out hints as to how his marriage to Somizi was and life has been after him by refuting certain claims and allegations while maintaining a level of privacy.

“Today was day 52 with my therapist since we started a year ago. I’m happy, hurting and healing at the same time. Don’t ask me how I’m doing it because I don’t know, but I’m doing it, and I’m so proud of myself,” he said.

MOTAUNG FAMILY ALLEGEDLY RETURNED LOBOLA

This week, Twitter was abuzz after a report claimed that Motaung’s family returned the lobola that Somizi Mhlongo had paid for him.

City Press reported that Somizi Mhlongo paid lobola for Mohale Motaung but his family returned the “hard cash”. This was reportedly because they did not approve of the relationship.

“They did not like the relationship from the go. You would remember that it was reported everywhere when his sisters attacked Somizi online and his family vowed to disown him if he continued with Somizi,” said a source to City Press.

“They forged a front for Mohale’s sake, but even after the lobola was paid, it was in hard cash and they gave it back to him because they did not approve of the union,” the source continued.

In an episode of his reality show, Living The Dream With Somizi, Mhlongo revealed that they did not officially sign any marriage documents at their wedding.

Somgaga’s legal advisor Hopewell Sathekge said that in order for them to get divorced they would first need to prove they were married. This also works for whether Mohale could claim 50% of Somizi’s estate or not.
