The newly crowned Miss SA Ndavi Nokeri was inducted as an ambassador of South Africa at the Union Buildings in Pretoria.

Miss South Africa Ndavi Nokeri was inducted as an ambassador of South Africa at the Union Buildings in Pretoria on Monday 15 August.
NDAVI NOKERI INDUCTED AS BRAND AMBASSADOR
Limpopo’s Ndavi Nokeri was crowned Miss South Africa 2022 at the finale of the pageant held at the SunBet Arena at Time Square, Pretoria, on Saturday 13 August.
As of this year, there are no longer two runners-up but just a top two. So, Miss SA 2022 will compete at all three international pageants – Miss Universe, Miss World and Miss Supranational.
If she is unable to, then the runner-up will take on her role.The runner up for Miss SA 2022 is Ayanda Thabethe, who hails from KwaZulu-Natal.
Ndavi kicked off her first day as Miss SA with interviews, photoshoots and picking up the keys to her Mercedes-Benz C-Class Sedan. On Monday, she was had her official induction as a brand ambassador of South Africa. Take a look…

MISS SA REFLECTS ON WHERE SHE CAME FROM IN ACCEPTANCE SPEECH
Ndavi reflected on coming from humble beginnings in her acceptance speech. The 23-year-old hails from Tzaneen in Limpopo. She has a BCom investment management degree from the University of Pretoria. The beauty queen was working for an asset management firm at the time of her crowning
“I am Miss SA 2022. I have uttered these words more than a thousand times before, but to be able to say it today and it actually being my reality is so humbling. Look at God,” she said.
“For a girl from Gabaza to be seen, embraced and chosen to represent her country is a groundbreaking moment. A moment that reaffirms that our dreams are valid, regardless of where we come from. I am grateful for the women who have gone before me who broke the glass ceilings so I could stand here today empowered, fulfilled and ready to proudly raise the South African flag up high everywhere I go and to shine the light of hope to all South Africans,” she continued.
