It was a weekend full of celebrations for Minnie Dlamini and family who celebrated not only her son’s birthday but also a traditional ceremony in his honour…
The media personality and actress hosted Netha’s first birthday celebrations as well as an Imbeleko traditional ceremony, whereby a baby is “introduced” to their ancestors.
NETHA TURNS ONE
Minnie Dlamini shared a few snaps from her son’s 1st birthday on Saturday 13 November – which was aptly themed “Netha’s Fast One” – on her Instagram Stories.
The party was filled with plenty of balloons and toy racing cars, and the colour palette was blue, green and grey.
In one picture, the birthday boy can be seen sleeping, wearing a blue linen shirt, cargo shorts and a pair of green Nike Air Force trainers.
And in another picture, a birthday banner gave us a glimpse at Netha’s little personality.

MINNIE DLAMINI HOSTS IMBELEKO CEREMONY
Meanwhile, Minnie Dlamini and her husband Quinton Jones hosted an imbeleko ceremony for their son.
The traditional ceremony was attended by the likes of close family and friends, including pals Anele Mdoda, Nandi Madida, Norma Mngoma and Zola Nombona.
The event featured an African theme and the family of three wore their best traditional wear to celebrate the happy occasion.
