Matthew McConaughey’s kids steal the show at ‘Sing 2’ premiere [watch]

Matthew McConaughey brought his three kids to the ‘Sing 2’ premiere and they are the spitting image of their Oscar-winning dad! Take a look.

The sequel to the musical animation Sing hits South African cinemas on Friday 24 December, just in time for Christmas. The Sing 2 movie premiere was a family affair and all the actors who attended brought their children along including American actor Matthew McConaughey. The actor’s three kids look just like him!

‘SING 2’

Sing 2 follows Buster Moon (Matthew McConaughey) and his group of all-star musical animals as they launch a new show in Las Vegas. Buster and the gang are hoping to persuade rock icon Clay Callow voiced by U2 frontman Bono to join them for the show.

The film was written and directed by Garth Jennings and stars the likes of Reese Witherspoon, Tori Kelly, Scarlett Johansson, Taron Egerton. 

U2 contributed an original song titled Your Song Saved My Life to the music animation. 

“It’s so full of emotion and heart,” Garth Jennings told Entertainment Weekly

MATTHEW MCCONAUGHEY AT ‘SING 2’ PREMIERE 

The Sing 2 premiere took place in Los Angeles, California on Sunday 12 December. The star-studded premiere was attended by the likes of Reese Witherspoon, Big Mouth creator Nick Kroll and Matthew McConaughey to name a few. 

McConaughey attended the premiere with his wife, Brazilian-American model Camila Alves and their three children Levi, Vida and Livingston

The  52-year-old actor’s children are a spitting image of him! He shared an image of his family at the Sing 2 premiere writing: “Family affair at Sing 2 premiere.”

WHERE TO WATCH ‘SING 2’ IN SOUTH AFRICA 

Sing 2 will hit cinemas in South Africa on Friday 24 December, which means there is a musical animation treat for all the kids this year. The film will be available at Ster-Kinekor and Nu Metro theatres across the country.

Sing 2 is for the entire family which means you can certainly spend some much-needed family time in the movie theatre.
