The Hot102.7fm radio DJ took to social media on Saturday to share an update as he continues his battle against cancer.
The 53-year-old, who previously worked at 5FM, 94.7 Highveld Stereo, 94.5 Kfm and Hot919, confirmed that while it would’ve been nice to be home for the festive season, he was making the most of the situation.

Pilgrim was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer, which he revealed in June had spread to his femur, the base of his spine and lymph nodes.

Pilgrim wrote: “Would have been nice being home for Christmas. More important though is who you spend it with 🙏🏻. Adrienne, the girls and I making the most of the room 😊💕.
“Thank you to Lloyd and the team at @hot1027fm for supplying the traditional Christmas dinner, decorating the room and making it so special!🎄🧑🏻🎄”
