Mark Pilgrim has officially popped the question to his partner Adrienne, and by the looks of it, the couple are set to walk down the aisle soon.
The veteran radio presenter ended 2022 with a bang after he shared a glimpse of his proposal to his partner, who has been at his side throughout his lengthy hospital stay.
The Hot 102.7 host recently spent over 60 days in hospital due to complications in his stage four cancer treatment.
But who is the woman that has captured Mark Pilgrim’s heart?
MARK PILGRIM: MEET HIS FIANCÉE ADRIENNE
On New Year’s Eve, Mark Pilgrim shared a post of him proposing to Adrienne with a ring. And by the look on her face, it’s clear she was overjoyed.
He captioned the post: “I love you my Adrienne”.
Mark Pilgrim has posted many a selfie with “My Adrienne”, who he has praised for her relentless support, both physically and emotionally.
Adrienne is a senior partner at a consulting firm based in Johannesburg. Mark Pilgrim and Adrienne recently began dating, after meeting “through mutual friends”.
According to her LinkedIn page, Adrienne – who has a degree in economics – claims she is “passionate about people”. And this is clearly evident in how she lovingly cares for Mark.
She recently told You Magazine: “Mark’s a massive part of my life, and thankfully, I have a lot to keep my mind busy in the day. I have an amazing job and all those good things give me a sense of meaning and purpose”.
She added: “A big part of my life has been grey. Mark always says somewhere between black and white, instead of grey, there’s a rainbow. So, it’s trying to remember to see that. But it hasn’t been easy”.
Before Adrienne, Mark Pilgrim was married for 13 years to Nicole Torres. The couple – who announced their divorce in 2020 – are parents to two daughters Tayla-Jean and Alyssa.
