Mark Pilgrim’s fiancée Adrienne Watkins has shared a message of encouragement with him amid his gruelling stage four cancer treatment.

The couple – who got engaged on New Year’s Eve – have been inseparable in the last year following Mark’s diagnosis in March 2022.

Mark has been updating his social media followers on his cancer journey, including successes and setbacks.

MARK PILGRIM’S FIANCEE SPEAKS LIFE INTO HIM

In his latest post, Mark Pilgrim shared a picture of his drastic weight loss. He also revealed that his stomach, in addition to his lungs, would now be drained of fluid.

He posted: “Really skinny at the moment. More fluid drained from my abdomen, so my tummy has a bit of space for food.”

Of his cancer fight, he added: “It’s a journey. It’s not easy. Baby steps. Still have the end goal in sight where myself, Adrienne, and the girls are walking on the beach with our future golden retriever.”

And jumping in the comment section was his partner Adrienne, who spoke words of life into him.

She posted: “Yes, my baby! Hold onto that vision, my love. We will do it! You are so brave and so incredible, and I am so privileged to walk this path with you.

She added: “Tomorrow the sun will shine, so keep going. You got this. I love you with all my heart.”

Adrienne previously told You Magazine: “Mark’s a massive part of my life, and thankfully, I have a lot to keep my mind busy in the day. I have an amazing job and all those good things give me a sense of meaning, and purpose”.

She added: “A big part of my life has been grey. Mark always says somewhere between black and white, instead of grey, there’s a rainbow. So, it’s trying to remember to see that. But it hasn’t been easy”.
