Makhadzi relives childhood trauma on 15th anniversary
Makhadzi is celebrating the fifteenth anniversary of an occasion that helped her have the thick skin that she has today.

We all celebrate different anniversaries but it seems that Makhadzi is celebrating one that is bittersweet. The singer shared on Twitter that the occasion, in a way has helped her become the strong person that she is today.

What happened 15 years ago
The anniversary that the singer and dancer was referring to was when she was thrown out of a friend’s house. Makhadzi claims that she was told that the friend’s family were going to have an important family discussion. This was all a lie apparently they wanted Makhadzi to leave so they can start eating. She stated the following in the post;
“Today marks exactly 15 years I went to my friend’s house as they tell me to stay outside that they want to have family discussion not knowing they were eating”

The post, according to Bona Magazine, went on to become a discussion on the topic of forgiveness where some tweeps expressed their point of view. This is not the first time that the singer has been open about her painful past.

She was a guest on Somizi’s show Downtime with Somizi where she discussed her rough upbringing. She also discussed the criticism that she gets especially on social media where she gets trolled for the way that she looks and aspects of her life.
