Media personality Jub Jub has come out to shut down any rumours or posts linking him to rapper Shebeshxt — real name Lehlogonolo Katlego Chauke.

According to the Uyajola 9/9 – real name Molemo Maarohanye — there are fake Facebook accounts scamming people and linking him to Shebeshxt’s car accident.

In a video on his Instagram account, Jub Jub lambasted the accounts pretending to be him on the social media platform.

“It has come to my attention, through my team, that there’s a lot of Facebook accounts that have been opened,” he said, further explaining how to differentiate his Facebook account from the fake accounts.

The Ndikhokhele hitmaker – who is in and out of court for rape, attempted murder and kidnapping – said boundaries have been crossed where the face accounts are talking about Shebeshxt’s accident.

“I’ve got nothing to do with that. I’ve said nothing about it and I’ve got no opinion. I don’t know the boy, I’ve never met the boy and nobody should also have an opinion too.

“please, let’s let him and his family grieve in peace and let’s respect each other’s privacy.

Shebeshxt lost his nine-year-old daughterOnthatile Chuene, during a car accident on the R37 road next to Smelters Mine in Limpopo on 8 June.

The artist was driving with his child, as well as her mother, Kholofelo Chuene, when his Volkswagen Polo crashed into a truck and overturned.

Following the accident, Kholofelo was hospitalised as sustaining moderate injuries.

Meanwhile, Shebeshxt (who suffered a broken leg, abdominal fracture, and head injuries) was sent to the Netcare Pholoso Hospital after allegedly being left unattended at a public hospital.

Speaking to TshisaLIVE, the Chauke spokesperson, James Magoro, said that the musician will be able to attend his daughter’s funeral on Saturday, 22 June, as he is now out of ICU.

“He is still in hospital but he will attend the funeral. We are looking to maybe have people from the hospital assist in bringing him to the funeral and then take him back to the hospital to recover. He still needs to fully recover. He had dislocations. One leg they put steel in and [fitted] a moon boot. The leg is OK. He can step with both [legs],” Magoro said, adding that the Ambulance rapper had undergone surgery.

He further revealed that they have been avoiding speaking to Shebeshxt about Onthatile, as the musician is still grieving.

“We can’t talk to him about his loss because we understand, but he can see his child is not around any more and his partner got hurt. He asked about Kholo’s whereabouts but did not ask about the child because he knows the child did not make it.”
