Since his thrust into the limelight, Skomota has been living it up, from rubbing shoulders with A-listers to wearing some of the world’s finest designer clothes.

No doubt he has a rags-to-riches story to tell. Skomota had his shot at fame after winning a whooping R3 million from Betway.

However, in the backdrop of his newfound fame, he quickly switched the floor to entertainment and has quickly become a darling of many. His signature dance move has since gone international, with several celebrities across the globe trying it out.

Back home, he has shared the stage with some of South Africa’s finest, the likes of Makhadzi and has had the opportunity to hang around with several celebrities, including DJ Tira.

However, Skomota is trending after his drunk video made rounds on X, formerly Twitter. Skomota was seen drunk while at a local event. The viral sensation couldn’t maintain his balance as he tried to move away from the crowd.

At some point, Skomota was seen trying to get balance from a parked car. The video has gained thousands of comments and reactions since it dropped on the internet.

Some X users defended him, while others took a swipe at his management for failing to protect him. No doubt this is not the first time his management has failed to protect his image.

Last week, Skomota hogged headlines with his R200 000 outfit. His outfit included a R2 495 Lacoste shirt and an R10 000 belt. He was also wearing R2 579 Karl Lagerfeld sneakers with slim-fit Bronny jeans, which cost at least R4 950.

After all, Skomota has been making a fortune from bookings and appearances against the backdrop of his newfound fame. However, Mzansi has often taken a swipe at his spending sprees.
