DJ Zinhle is making headlines after she took a swipe at South African youths in one of her recent interviews. The celebrated DJ revealed that South African youths were unemployable.

However, her sentiments received a lot of backlash from fans and fellow celebrities, forcing her to issue a public apology.

Against her remarks, music executive Nota Baloyi took a swipe at her career, claiming she doesn’t make good music but promotes it with other people’s help. No doubt Nota Baloyi’s remarks on DJ Zinhle’s career have since thrust the star into top trends.

Nota dropped the damming allegations in one of his recent podcast episodes, where he appeared as a guest. Seemingly, DJ Zinhle will never hear the end of it after her remarks about South African youths.

Fans and fellow celebrities have since flooded social media with their two cents. In the now-viral video, which has gained thousands of comments and reactions since it was posted, Nota Baloyi questioned DJ Zinhle’s talent.

He made it known that some people always make music for her. Nota Baloyi said, “DJ Zinhle is not a talented music maker. She does not make music. She has people make music for her. DJ Zinhle is a brand that attaches itself to popular music. She is a DJ. She promotes music.”

However, fans seemingly agreed with Nota.

With an illustrious career spanning years, DJ Zinhle has fast become one of the most sought-after DJs in South Africa. She started her career in 2004. However, DJ Zinhle initially wanted to be a TV presenter. DJ Zinhle got her first big break as a resident DJ on a youth dance show called Jika Majika that aired on SABC 1.

Since then, she has won big and spread her wings in the entertainment industry. DJ Zinhle has worked with several stars and has headlined several shows across the globe.

She has capped her career with accolades, including Best House DJ and Best House Female Artist. In 2019, she headlined the Zimfest live concert, a Zimbabwean festival in England.
