‘Lehasa who?’: A look at ‘Skeem Saam’s’ Cedric Fourie’s net worth
Cedric Fourie may actually be richer than the character he plays on ‘Skeem Saam’.

Soweto-born actor Cedric Fourie, who plays the role of self-made millionaire Lehasa Maphosa on Skeem Saam, is driven to succeed as the character he portrays on the educational soapie.
Fourie is a qualified engineer who graduated from the University of the Witwatersrand and recently (15 July 2021) completed his postgraduate diploma in management practice at the University of Cape Town (UCT).
The actor told TshisaLIVE that his UCT qualification has enabled him to add more value to the organisations he works for and with.
He currently appears in four shows namely, Judas Kiss, Family Secrets, Durban Gen, and Skeem Saam.
He’s also made appearances on Sokhulu and Partners, Harvest, Generations, and Isibaya.
FOURIE’S NET WORTH, HOUSES, AND CARS
His career extends to engineer, motivational speaker, brand ambassador, and his various streams have earned him an estimated net worth of US$1 million according to Sanotify which equates to R14 million.
According to Sanotify, Fourie has worked for Ericcson, Huawei Technologies, and Mobax Group as a network engineer.
Fourie’s Instagram posts reveal that he owns a couple of cars and is a brand ambassador for a couple of car brands including the 2021 Nissan Navara.
He’s got a house in Soweto where he grew up, a house in Houghton, and another one in Sydenham in Gauteng.
FOURIE’S FAMILY AND ROMANTIC RELATIONSHIPS
Fourie rubbished rumours he is gay in a February 2020 interview with TshisaLIVE and stated that he is an LGBTQI+ ally after pictures of him and Lasizwe surfaced.
“Don’t say “facts” when you can’t prove it. I help gays and lesbians have equal rights, like all of us.”
“Pictures don’t mean jack.”

Fourie is currently single according to his social media accounts, and has reportedly broken up with his Ugandan girlfriend Zari Hassan, according to an iHarare article.
He is co-parenting with the mother of his son whom he often posts on his social media on birthdays and holidays.
He’s never mentioned her name as she’s extremely private and doesn’t seem to have any social media accounts.
He was raised by a single mother, and often posts his mother, aunts, and grandmother on his Instagram account.
FOURIE’S FRIENDS
The actor is friends with 7de Laan actor Nicholas Nkuna, who played the role of Sakhile on Skeem Saam.
Fourie is also close friends with Phathu Makwarela, who is the writer, producer and creator of The River, Legacy and Giyani: Land of Blood.
He also keeps in touch with his former co-star Amanda du Pont, who played his love interest, Lelo Mthiyane on Skeem Saam.
